DWF Labs Joins Funding Round for Sonic SVM as Strategic Investor

Sonic SVM, the Solana-layer chain pivoting from gaming into a full attention capital platform, announced the closing of a funding round, with DWF Labs participating among key strategic investors supporting its next growth phase. The financing backs the project’s shift from gaming infrastructure into a novel protocol for monetizing attention, and comes alongside the launch of its ACM (Attention Capital Markets) upgrade.
The crypto venture funding is intended to support the roll-out and adoption of the ACM protocol to enhance liquidity and accelerate integration of Sonic’s infrastructure into downstream applications.
Sonic SVM positions the ACM framework as a mechanism to bring together off-chain metrics (such as impressions and clicks) and on-chain data (e.g. transactions, volume) into a verifiable attention asset layer.
Sonic SVM’s journey began with a focus on gaming on Solana. Its original model, centered on tap-to-earn gaming via SonicX on TikTok, drew over two million users and provided a testbed for the notion that user engagement can be rewarded.
Building on that experience, Sonic SVM evolved into a protocol that treats attention itself as capital. It runs as an atomic, Solana-based SVM (Solana Virtual Machine) Layer 2 (L2) chain leveraging HyperGrid framework, which introduces SVM rollups coordinated by a shared sequencer network and BFT consensus, with ZK proofs posted back to the Solana Layer (L1) for security and finality.
This technology lets multiple high-demand apps run in parallel while remaining atomically interoperable across grids. Sonic SVM targets low fees and fast finality for consumer use cases, while also offering developer tools: SDKs, the Rush ECS game framework, and seamless Web3 integrations in gaming, social, and content apps, catering to other high demand sectors such as DeFi and AI x Crypto.
Leading participance in this investment aligns with DWF Labs’ strategic focus on blockchain infrastructure, crypto liquidity, venture capital and growth financing.
