RICE AI, a decentralized AI and robotics infrastructure project, has successfully closed its Series A funding round, joined by leading crypto venture firms including DWF Labs, Floki, Vibe Labs, and CRG.
Announcing the closing of the crypto investment round, RICE AI highlighted its strategic collaboration with BNB Chain, as well as ongoing support from YZi Labs, CoinMarketCap, and NVIDIA’s Inception Program, positioning RICE AI at the intersection of AI, crypto and robotics innovation.
Furthermore, on August 18, 2025, RICE AI completed a highly anticipated presale of its native token, $RICE, on the Binance Alpha Launchpad, achieving a 33,000% oversubscription. Following the presale, $RICE debuted on PancakeSwap and Binance Alpha, marking a significant step in the project’s growth and community engagement.
About RICE AI
Founded by Rice Robotics, a company operating service robots in Japan and Hong Kong for delivery, security, and cleaning, RICE AI is building a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) to tackle the challenge of data scarcity in AI training. By creating a universal DePIN layer and marketplace, the project enables third-party robots to contribute training data and earn rewards in $RICE tokens. These tokens are designed to incentivize data sharing and power the ecosystem’s marketplace.
The project's roadmap includes SDK integrations for popular robot models (such as Unitree) and the launch of a dedicated data marketplace to further advance the integration of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) into robotic systems.
